Michelle and I met on Hinge while I was in the middle of opening a restaurant. Money was tight, so our first date was a simple pizza spot—something she still says she loved. Not long after, I brought this Miami girl to the freezing tundra of Philadelphia for the NFC Championship game. The moment she yelled her first “Go Birds,” I knew I was falling in love.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory is actually a tradition. In college, if someone hit on Michelle, she’d make a ridiculous face (featured in many of our photos). If they laughed, she’d keep talking; if not, that was that. On our first date, she made the face at me, and I became the first person to make it back. Since then, we’ve recreated it everywhere—from Ireland to the Taj Mahal, and even in our engagement photos.
What would you do with $20,000?If we won the $20,000, we’d split it right down the middle: $10,000 toward buying our first home—which, in Miami, feels nearly impossible—and $10,000 toward planning our grand Indian-Jewish wedding, which, with both of our families involved, feels equally impossible. So really, we’d just be investing in two beautiful disasters. Welcome to the s#!t show!
