We met when I came to where she worked bussing tables with a group, I know now that that first time seeing her stuck. Funny things is she doesn’t remember that time at all - we were teens and headed in very different directions.

When we met again in our early 20s, I was newly divorced and she had her (now our) son and was dating someone else. We met at a friends but she had plans with him later. When time came for her to go I asked her to stay and I’m sure I was super corny in my attempt most likely referencing some song lyric to try and get her to stay and just end it with him - we were getting along so well and I know she didn’t want it to end anymore than I did. Eventually she agreed and the journey began!

We have lived our lives for our most important asset OUR FAMILY, we do road trips, we have found a way thanks to her to fund raise so our girls can successfully compete as part of Team USA at different world competitions. Memories are the only things that matter to her and I surrounded by our children and grandchildren and we spend it creating a memory with all of them where she didn’t have to do anything but enjoy all of us together, stuff just doesn’t matter being together does!
