Our story began on Facebook. We had both signed up for Facebook dating as an experiment, not expecting to meet someone. We came across each others profiles and both gave pause "Wait! this person is worth meeting." We visited on the phone 2-3 times and then decided to grab a burger for dinner one night. Funny enough- we found out later that we each told ourselves "Okay- this is JUST a burger. I am not going to get into a relationship." Yeah right! We married 1 year later to the date.

Our favorite memory isn't a single moment, it's the journey of The Hat Chick, together. What began as a dream has become years of creating, problem solving, celebrating wins, and meeting incredible people side by side. Every hat tells a story and so does our business. The best part is that this memory is STILL being made every day. Watching a shared vision grow while working and growing together as a couple has been the greatest adventure of our lives... And we still love each other!

If we won $20,000 we would take a much-needed vacation together to celebrate & recharge after years of building our business. The rest of the funds would be donated to animal rescue organizations that work tirelessly to save animals that have been abandoned, neglected or put on the euthanization list. Giving back is close to our hearts and would make the prize even more meaningful allowing us to create memories together while helping animals find the care and love they deserve.
