My sister in law was my student teacher in high school and wanted me to take my husband to prom. I said I am not taking some strange guy to prom! A few months later our grandmothers both had strokes and ended up in the same nursing home in the same room! My mom and his dad became friends (dated for a bit) and then we met. The rest is history as they say!! Dated almost 10 years. Have been happily married since 10/8/1994!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Every day we make new memories but if I had to choose it would probably be our trip to Germany in 2019. My husband had just retired from the Glenview fire department after working an amazing career for 30 years. It was our 25th anniversary and we went to Munich and then off to visit family in Bavaria. It was an amazing 3 week trip.
What would you do with $20,000?Travel! We want to see the world and this would help to make that happen. We are dreaming of going to Australia as a destination in 2027! It’s a dream trip for sure!
