We briefly crossed paths in a local lions club when we were both teenagers. We both lived in small towns next to each other and so we didn’t see each other often. We reconnected online my senior year and have been best friends ever since! 9 years and counting!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory will always be our wedding day. Five hours before our rehearsal, our venue canceled as COVID shut the world down. We thought our day was over, but our family and friends refused to let that happen. They came together to create a beautiful wedding in just a few hours. Looking back, we don’t remember the chaos—we remember the overwhelming love, support, and the perfect beginning to our marriage. We wouldn’t change a thing.
What would you do with $20,000?$20,000 wouldn’t just change our bank account, it would help bring us home. We’re working toward moving back to Texas to be closer to family so our boys can grow up surrounded by the people who have always shown up for us. The same family who saved our wedding when COVID turned our plans upside down. To us, home isn’t a place it’s the people who never let us face life’s hardest moments alone.
