We have the best time parenting our children, playing video games and living the lives of true 90s kids. We have been married now 8 years!
Help us share our love story in Variety, take home $20,000, and go on a triple date with Jeff & Emilie Goldblum and Charlie Day & Mary Elizabeth Ellis!
While moving freshman students into their dorms at Syracuse University, Andre and I crossed paths on the Quad. We were both volunteering with our fraternity and sorority. As we were hanging on the quad, he came up with his brothers and began conversation. I was not very impressed, so I stood there with a look on my face. Andre just so happened to call me out for looking unimpressed and that stuck with me. No guy had ever called out my RBF. After a few more chance encounters, we became exclusive.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Andre planned a beautiful engagement in Maui, and I happened to stumble upon the receipt. After finding it, he did everything in his power to make me believe a proposal was not happening. I really wanted to go to Hawaii, so I decided I would be going regardless of our relationship status. The night before he proposed, we had some drinks and I asked would we ever get married, next steps etc. Andre thought to just break out the ring, but he was patient with me, let me talk, and proposed next day.
What would you do with $20,000?We would love to take our family to Hawaii and renew our vows. Currently in year 8, we plan to renew our vows for our 10th anniversary. Our proposal was just the two of us and we would like for our family to share that experience of our love with us. With whatever other money we would have after that, we could pay down some of our bills and start education funds for our children.
