How did your love story begin?

We met at college when we were 19 and 21, we were dating other people, but realized that we really liked each other and became inseparable. Best friends. Because my major was impacted, and my friend had the desire for adventure, we decided to move to San Francisco together and finish off school, and that was the start of our romance since we moved in together, and it was only the two of us so far away from home.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We have so many memories that are awesome, one of the things that we started at year two of our anniversary because year one you have to have your cake, is we surprise each other and don’t tell each other what we’re doing for our anniversary and we take turns every other year. So one year our 25th, we went to Paris, and my surprise was an engraved lock that we put in the city near the lock bridge and threw the key in the Siene to secure many more years of love, it was such a special trip.

What would you do with $20,000?

We are finally at a place in our house where our kids have moved out and we can start doing things that we’ve needed to do for many years, we really need to rebuild a bookshelf in our den and this would help so much. This year was also the first year we ever took a cruise to Alaska and it was so fantastic , and that would help us to be able to take another one and take my parents who will be 90 this year somewhere because we travel so well together and we really enjoy being with each other.
