How did your love story begin?

We were in college. We would see each other across a room in a lounge we shared for months. I asked him if he wanted to come to an after party at my house. We talked for hours after everyone left. He invited me out to dinner the next Thursday, and truthfully after that night we both knew that we would spend the rest of our lives together. We came from totally different backgrounds, but found so much in common the way we looked at life. He made me feel so special I couldn't help it!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

How could you narrow down 45 years to one memory? We both agree our 10th anniversary by ourselves after having four children. Our Vow renewal at 40 years, surrounded by people we called family, and it was the wedding we never had was so special. Our moving trips driving across the USA five times. And, definitely living in Spain for three years. But, nothing could beat each time our children were born and put into our arms.

What would you do with $20,000?

Practical reason would be pay off credit cards! Impractical, but fun would be a trip back to Spain and Europe. And definitely have wanted a screened-in porch for years to battle the mosquitoes in Georgia! Even more fun would be too take a trip with all our children since they all live in other states just for relaxation. No purpose, just fun.
