How did your love story begin?

We met on Facebook and quickly discovered we were the perfect kind of weird for each other. While most couples start with flowers, he won my heart with hermit crabs—a gift that showed he truly understood me. We spend our time exploring graveyards, watching horror movies, eating tacos, and celebrating our favorite season: Halloween. From spooky adventures to movie nights filled with scares and laughter, we’ve built a love story that’s uniquely ours. 🎃💀🦀

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of our favorite adventures happens on our many drives to South Dakota. To pass the miles, we play games and find humor in the little things. On one trip, we spotted an old Cadillac with “TOOT WAD” written on it. The driver looked like he stepped right out of the 1960s! We spent the rest of the trip trying to work up the courage to ask the story behind the name. For three states, he appeared at every rest stop, giving us one of our funniest memories together.

What would you do with $20,000?

One of the first things we would do is travel to South Dakota to spend time with his dad. He has been very ill, and being able to see him would be amazing. We would also use part of the money to fix our plumbing. This is my first home, and after three years, we still feel incredibly lucky to have a place that is ours. This would help us make our home safer, more comfortable, and give us the chance to focus on what matters most—family and the memories we create together.
