Our story began on Tinder! We started talking in February of 2019 right before Valentine’s Day. We met in person a month later due to distance. We love to say that we are a Tinder success story! In September 2019, Tara proposed to Ashlee at Air Zoo in Kalamazoo, where we had our 2nd date and first kiss. Then in December, Ashlee proposed to Tara at her favorite place in her hometown! We got married in June of 2020! The best decision we ever made!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?There are so many fun and loving memories to choose from! Aside from our wedding, which was not the wedding we pictured due to Covid, our favorite memory together is our first anniversary, which we recreate every year at our favorite restaurant. We dress up, have big conversations of how our year was, what went right, plans for the next year and beyond, etc. We do this every year and it’s always one of our favorite moments each year.
What would you do with $20,000?We would pay off some debt, help the unhoused people in our area, build our family, and plan the wedding we wanted but couldn’t have!
