We met in undergrad at the School of Music at the U of M and had a few classes together. We reconnected two years after graduation. Kyle messaged me on Facebook which I ignored. He fortunately messaged me again telling me he was going to be in town for the International Trumpet Guild Conference. That was almost 15 years ago and we have been together ever since. We were long distance for 3 years until we got engaged. Since then we have worked together (work and home) and have two great kids!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?I would say when Kyle proposed. I thought he was four hours away in Madison, WI. I was in the shower and shaving my legs. When I got out of the shower I had three missed calls. I called him back and we chatted. He then told me to go to the front door. He was there with flowers and proposed … while I was on my pjs! I wouldn’t have changed a thing!
What would you do with $20,000?It would be great to use the money to help pay off the loan we took out to add to our home. But we would also love it to take a trip with our kiddos. We have never been able to afford a trip just the four of us. Maybe rent an RV and travel to different National Parks.
