The Franstons

We are best friends, good roommates, confidants, coconspirators, and kind to each other. We talk out issues and make each other laugh.

How did your love story begin?

We met at a rehearsal for Northwest Choirs in 1989. Scott offered me a ride home and shortly after we started dating. I broke up with him because he was “too distracting” and I was a serious actress. We remained friends, dated again in our 20s, broke up. A friend told me Scott was dead. 16 years later he walked into a Kareoke bar and here we are, married for 10 years. There’s more but that’s a pretty good summary.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

There are so many! We adventure well together. Here’s a good one. In the early 90’s we went into a club in Seattle because the music coming out onto the street was amazing. We heard Tool making their first appearance. Chris Cornell was there and literally bumped into Scott and then we found $50 on the floor. Scott and I always meet amazing people when we are out together and we have built a lifetime of memories that we both cherish.

What would you do with $20,000?

Take a break together. Go to New York, Scott needs to meet my family back east. Go to New Orleans, and if we had enough take a trip to Europe together. Spend time outside of the house and work life to see more and share more.
