We are near perfect complements to each other’s strengths and weaknesses and have made each other better people.
We would like to thank you for supporting The Fortes in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met in college when we were both in relationships. Despite that, we had an instant connection and became best friends. Since we lived closest to each other, we’d always be the last ones left at the end of group hangouts. We’d talk for hours about the future we wanted, perhaps knowing in our souls that we would share that future together.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Cruising down Duval Street in Key West in a golf cart in the middle of the night heading towards the Southernmost Point monument. We had dressed up beautifully for dinner and we took pictures of each other with a disposable film camera in front of the monument in the dark, laughing like children. We’re New Yorkers and refused to stand in the line of tourists in the daytime. It was the perfect night, just the two of us and our blue golf cart.
What would you do with $20,000?We’re getting married next July, so the money would either go towards our wedding or towards a down payment on our future home. We have been putting every penny we have towards our future marriage and children.
