Our story is one of redemption. He grew up as a pastor’s kid and had experienced divorce. I came to faith after 30 years as an unbeliever. When we finally surrendered our pasts to God, He closed every wrong door and opened the right one. Though we’d been leaders at the same church for two years, we’d never met. Seventy days after meeting, we married, saved our first kiss for the altar, and God gave me the gift of becoming Ezra’s bonus mom.

Our favorite memories aren't the big moments, they're the everyday ones. Coming home to each other, cooking dinner, laughing until we cry, reading the Bible, praying together, leading at church side by side, and making memories with Ezra. Our minimoon in Miami biking along the beach and celebrating at the Cleveland Zoo after our wedding were unforgettable, but our greatest joy is building a Christ-centered home and dreaming of growing our family with babies one day!

If we won $20,000, the first 10% would be tithed back to our families' churches. We'd invest in launching the Christian apparel brand God has placed on our hearts, with the goal of growing it into a ministry that serves orphans and widows. We'd use it to help grow our family, create special memories with Ezra, finally take a real honeymoon, and wisely save the rest. Our prayer is to steward every dollar to honor God and bless others.
