Connect How did your love story begin?

We met when I was in college. He was a brand-new police officer and I always felt safe around him. We were great friends for many years. We lost touch and I married, had a baby and eventually found my way back to Ryan. But this time in a romantic way. It was like no time had passed when we reunited. My mom even said "I knew you would marry him one day". I don't regret anything in my past because it led me back to the most amazing husband, father, friend I could have ever imagined doing life with

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

My favorite memories could definitely be all the traveling we have done together, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Vegas, New York, Bahamas, Alaska but honestly some of the best nights we have together are the spontaneous evenings that it's just us and we sit at the bar, split our favorite steak and lobster dinner at our favorite steak house, Walt’s. We laugh, we dream, we plan and we share the deepest conversations just the two of us. Those are honestly some of the best memories we have together.

What would you do with $20,000?

Shew, that's a great question! Honestly, we would likely book an amazing trip with our two daughters to Paris. They both have Paris and the Eiffel Tower on their dream boards (we have taught them to reach for the stars even when it seems too far out of reach) and while we have always wanted to visit Europe it hasn't been in the cards for us yet. We would be so thankful and appreciative of this award, and it would be used to make core memories with our children and each other!
