We don’t just grow old together, we keep becoming new people and choose each other every single time. We’re each other’s home.
Help us share our love story in Variety, take home $20,000, and go on a triple date with Jeff & Emilie Goldblum and Charlie Day & Mary Elizabeth Ellis!
Our first chapter wasn’t written over dinner; it was written in a clinic hallway. She was a family medicine resident caring for a patient in labor while two others urgently needed help. I was a psychology intern who stepped in, taking one patient and finding help for another. Before we ever fell in love, we became teammates.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? My proposal plan was flawless…until I realized I’d booked our Yosemite campsite for the wrong dates. After driving for hours, we were turned away at the gate. I was convinced I’d ruined everything. My wife, running on almost no sleep after work, looked at me, burst out laughing, kissed my forehead, and said, “It’s ok. We’ll figure it out.” That’s when I knew I was marrying the right person, even if she wasn’t marrying the best planner.
What would you do with $20,000?Twenty thousand dollars would help us build more than a house—it would help us build our forever home. After years of investing in our education and careers, we’d finally be able to put down roots and create a place where future family dinners, holidays, and memories can grow.
