We began as just friends looking out for each other during our Senior year of high school. We became closer after graduation through conversations and spending more time together, eventually becoming boyfriend/girlfriend. We went our separate ways, both joined the Air Force and did what we could to keep in touch. Life happened for the both of us, but our moms still living in our hometown made sure we knew where each other were at all times.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Although we and our families remained in contact throughout the years, physically reconnecting in 2016 when I moved from NY to NC. Stopped to visit her in VA for a friendly lunch. We’ve been inseparable ever since!
What would you do with $20,000?Of course, we’d be responsible and pay some bills, but our goal is to buy a forever home and really retire since we are both Air Force veterans with me serving 23 years and she serving 30. Time for us to spend time for ourselves.
