How did your love story begin?

Our love story began just like we never imagined. We met through mutual friends of a car group. We all met up for dinner. And Julie and I sat on opposite ends of the table for dinner but we talked across the table about theme parks. Come to find out we both love Disney. And that’s where it began. But instead of asking for each others number or social media, we just went our separate ways that night. Here’s the best part, Julie got home and searched for me on instagram and found me.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

It has to be when we got engaged at Magic kingdom park. We went to the Mickeys very merry Christmas party, and I had it planned out to ask Julie to marry me. I just couldn’t find the right opportunity to pop the question. Until later into the night, she wanted to take pictures in front of the castle. Perfect! The photographer took our pictures and then as Julie tried to get her bag, I asked the photographer for “one” more photo. That’s when I nervously poured out my love for Julie and asked her.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would use some of it to go on a true honeymoon, after we got married I had to go on deployment a few weeks later. So we didn’t have the time to actually get away for a true honeymoon. And the rest would go to help purchase our first house as a married couple.
