Connect How did your love story begin?

We met at a gas station on Sunset Blvd actually. Small world because her sister and the lead singer of my band at the time were on the show “The Voice” together. We all started hanging out shortly after and we very quickly became drawn to one other. Bonding over The Beatles and other music classics, comparing Spotify playlists, etc. After a few dates, she told me I had to ask for her dad’s blessing to officially be her boyfriend (her parents are old school like that lol). So I did!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Ugh so many. But I guess our wedding in France has to take the cake (or croquembouche). We got a small group of about 20 people and rented a sizable chateau near Angers, France. Since our family/friends were separated by hundreds of miles, it was the first time they really got together. Family is such a deeply important thing to both of us (but especially her) so to see her that happy in such a beautiful setting is an unforgettable memory.

What would you do with $20,000?

Well, she’s always wanted a retro-looking camper/rv so that we can more easily do roadtrips and visit family and also bring our pet golden retriever (Maggie Mae) and bearded dragon (Mac) along with us. That being said, she’s a girl with big dreams and many projects she’d like to tackle so I’d leave it mostly up to her! She works so hard and there’s no one I’m more proud of. So she deserves to get what she wants. My brain would say something boring like invest it or save for a home.
