Richard and I had crossed paths several times over the years, but fate wasn’t ready for us yet. In 2008, a mutual friend gave him my number, and we spent hours talking on the phone, never realizing we’d already met years before. When we finally met for our blind date, everything just fell into place. From that day on, saying goodbye was the hardest part—we’ve been inseparable ever since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory as a couple is buying our first home together. After repeatedly getting outbid, we finally found a fixer-upper and put all our savings into it. With little left for remodeling, we’ve been making it our own one project at a time.
What would you do with $20,000?If we won $20,000, we’d finally be able to finish remodeling our first home together. After putting everything we had into buying our fixer-upper, we’ve tackled one project at a time. This gift would help us turn our house into the home we’ve always dreamed of while creating even more memories together.
