Our love story began the day he walked into my father's church. The strangest thought crossed my mind: You're going to marry him. We didn't speak that day—after service, he simply stayed behind and watched me. When he left, I thought I'd never see him again. Two weeks later, we connected, and everything changed. From the very beginning, I felt safe, protected, and at peace with him.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory has to be our jet ski adventure. We lost our guide, fell into the water before we even got started, and my dad watched the whole thing like a hawk—especially my husband, who was too embarrassed to look back. He swears I pulled him into the water; I disagree! We laughed so hard we could barely get back on. Then we rode at turtle speed because we were convinced sharks might be nearby. The lifeguard? Over 100 yards away in a boat with headphones on.We still laugh about it today.
What would you do with $20,000?We would use 20,000 towards leaving our 4 children a family legacy. We'd use 12k–15k toward a future forever home. $3k–5k into my business and speaking platform. $2k–3k reserved as an emergency cushion or for group land buying.....or a very much needed fam vacay.
