Connect How did your love story begin?

We met on a dating app. I kept swiping him away — but he was persistent, and he sent me a message, I didn't know my response will match us. He invited me to play darts, which turned out to be at a biker bar. When a guy started bothering me, he suggested we pretend dating. The guy wasn't buying it so he followed us everywhere. When he desperately needed the restroom he was hesitant to leave me, so he kissed me instead. That finally did the trick, the guy left. I fell for him as I know him more.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our 1-night honeymoon was nothing short of magical. He got hurt right before, but powered through just for us, because that's love! He even took me to my favorite girl group concert, Dreamcatcher! The hotel surprised us too with an upgrade, and we made the most of every moment at Universal's. When the rain hit and everyone left, we stayed and had the time of our lives. Sometimes, imperfect moments make the best memories!

What would you do with $20,000?

We've been on a beautiful but tough journey trying to start our family, so we'd put some toward treatments, our biggest dream! The rest would go toward a trip to the Philippines. My husband has never been, and it breaks my heart that three of my favorite people, who loved and accepted him passed away before ever getting to meet him in person. I want to show him my roots, my home, and everything that made me, me.
