In Costa Rica my Costa Rican friend suggested I call her. He introduced us to each other. I was much older than her. Luisa gave me her number and we started speaking every night. I was in New York, she in Costa Rica. Two years later I married Luisa with the K1 visa. She never had met an American before me. Three years later her beautiful daughter arrived and began her life in the USA. We had been going between Costa Rica and Nicaragua, visiting the family and seeing the beauties of Nicaragua.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? Our trips back to her home in Nicaragua. Luisa has eleven brothers and sisters, some 15 nieces and nephews. I teach the youngsters and visit the public school across the road. I’m a certified art teacher, still at my work to educate and help others. We loved Japan, went twice.
What would you do with $20,000?Well, Luisa just finished building her parents a four bedroom house for $8000. But the is always a need to feed, cloth, repair things, doctors expenses. I’m sure Luisa would send Benifits along the family chain. We don’t have debt, so money comes from my pension. Luisa needs English classes and to learn how to drive. We live a simple life in Maine.
