Our story began at my 24th birthday party when an uninvited guest gave my sister and her boyfriend a ride—and stole my heart. After our first date watching Twister, he drove me home only to find I'd forgotten my key. The only way in was through a tiny window, so this gentleman gave me a boost (yes, by my backside!). I was embarrassed, but I knew he was special. This August, we celebrate 30 years, 5 children, 20 grandchildren, and a lifetime of God's blessings. ❤️
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?When Charlie and I got married in our 20s, I was a nervous wreck. The judge would say, "Repeat after me..." and I'd immediately burst into laughter. Every. Single. Time. We had to stop so many times because I couldn't get myself together! I kept apologizing to the judge and Charlie between laughing fits. Somehow, I finally made it through the vows, said "I do," and earned that first married kiss. 😂❤️
What would you do with $20,000?We would go on the honeymoon we never got the chance to do.
