Connect How did your love story begin?

Jerry and I met when we were 17 and grew up side by side. What started as young love turned into a partnership built on loyalty, hard work, and choosing each other every day. Through school, career changes, buying a home, and now planning our wedding, we’ve faced every chapter together. Nearly seven years later, he’s still my best friend, my biggest supporter, and the person I can’t wait to spend forever with.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

It’s hard to choose just one memory because we’ve built so many together, but getting engaged was unforgettable. Standing with the person who’s been by my side since we were teenagers and realizing we were about to start our next chapter felt surreal. More than the proposal itself, it was the reminder of everything we’ve overcome together and the life we’re building hand in hand.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we won $20,000, it would help us pay for our wedding and start our next chapter together with less financial stress. We’ve been together since we were 17, and every milestone we’ve reached has come from hard work, sacrifice, and supporting each other’s dreams. From helping me through cosmetology school to supporting me as I open my own salon, Jerry has always believed in us. This would allow us to focus on celebrating our marriage and building our future together.
