We met in our mid/late 30s. Within two months, we knew we were soulmates. We’re best friends who laugh together every day.

Dan and Nikki met at karaoke! He saw her sing and was instantly smitten. She wouldn’t talk to him. So Dan talked to Nikki’s mom for an hour to stay close until Nikki finally caved and talked to him. Two days later, they were texting and calling daily. Their first date was on Feb 29, 2024. By April 19, 2024, Nikki said “Yes!” And just one year later, they were married.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?It’s hard to pick one memory. Getting to grow as partners and best friends has been the greatest gift of our lives. But if we had to pick, probably the night we met. We loved to tell everyone how I (Nikki) played hard to get. I also used to tell Dan that he better never dream of asking me to marry him after only 4 months of being together…so he did it in 2.
What would you do with $20,000?We are hoping to start a family this year! The money would go to getting us in a financial space where we can feel ready to provide our future family with the best life possible!
