We met online and have lasted 21 years so far. Each day, we pray together, send each other sweet (and spicy) texts, and choose each other.

We met on a matchmaker website that no longer exists. Gary lived in Texas and Virginia, while Ashley lived in Colorado. We spent 2 years building a solid friendship before even meeting face-to-face. Once we did, we knew. Gary first visited Colorado, then Ashley joined him in Texas to meet his family. And then she went to Virginia...where Gary proposed at a minor league baseball game.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?The births of our three children. We had our son nine months after our wedding! We moved to Texas to be closer to Gary's family and had our first daughter there. Then we moved to Colorado to be closer to Ashley's parents and had our second daughter there! So we have a special souvenir from each place we lived.
What would you do with $20,000?We would likely take our family on a special trip. Gary is a teacher and Ashley works for a non-profit, so vacations are scarce. We save for years just to do a road trip. Our kids are older teens now...and it won't be long before we are empty nester, so a beautiful trip of a lifetime would allow us to create some lasting memories.
