Back in Oct. of 2007,my cousin brought a handsome,blonde friend with an amazing smile to a family gathering.I immediately melted.He was wearing a brown sweater with a tan horizontal stripe across the chest and khaki Carhartt pants.He had no idea who I even was because I had just started high school,freshman year,and he was a senior.He had a girlfriend,I had a boyfriend,timing was never right.20 years later, I can still see him in my mind and feel those butterflies in my stomach from that day.

I’m a teacher and he’s a well driller.In winter when the weather is so bad,neither of us work.We ride around. His truck is 4 wheel drive so we’ll go down backroad places in our small town.One year,he literally stopped every half a mile just to let me hop out of the car and take stunning pictures of the snow and ice on all the vintage barns.When we have somewhere to go,we make memories through singing and having conversation.The day he let me take pics may be my favorite, but every day is special

I have student loan debt from getting my masters degree to become a librarian.Once I actually became a librarian,I realized my personality is too big to be stuck in a library all day.We’ll use some of the money to pay off that debt and give the rest of the money to my sister.She was born with spina bifida,can’t walk,but still has a job and drives.She loaned Daniel and I money when we needed it.Half the money to debt, half to my sister.We also pray to start a family of our own.
