We were both dating other people and met at a New Year’s Eve party. Shortly after we were both single so I decided to ask her out. I had been “riding bumpers” that weekend and didn’t realize I had worn my stitching out on my jeans. After I asked and she said yes, I turned to leave and my pants split up the butt and the rest is history. At our first date I learned she was moving away from Ohio to Texas in 2 weeks.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We won a hot air balloon ride for next to nothing at a charity auction years ago (everyone else knew better than to bid on it). It was a big deal as we were living paycheck to paycheck at the time. Turned out our pilot was about 80 years old and his eyesight wasn’t so great. He didn’t see a barbed wire fence as we were landing and had to make an “emergency maneuver” to avoid it followed by a hard landing which threw us from the basket. Now we look back on as one of many great adventures shared
What would you do with $20,000?We LOVE to travel. We would absolutely go on a trip…maybe even one of our bucket list trips; Antarctica or African Safari.
