Our story began in the late 90s in 2nd grade, inseparable from the moment we met. We bonded over long sleepovers watching cartoons and hours of drawing while laying on the kitchen floor. In fact, little has changed, but now we pay for a Netflix subscription and draw on tablets. In 2015, an overdue confession began a relationship built on decades of love and trust. Eight years later, Morgan popped the question at one of our favorite events, the annual renaissance faire.

Shortly after we began dating, we packed up our lives into a 97 Toyota Corolla and drove cross-country from Boston to Seattle. Did our car have working AC? Well, no. But this trip truly ignited our thirst for adventure. We had no hotels booked beforehand; we just drove as far as we could and picked a place to stop each night. From an overnight stay at a castle in Chicago to outrunning a twister in Eastern WA, it was a thrilling and formative experience. We’ve loved travelling ever since.

We’ve been dreaming of recapturing the freedom and magic of that first cross-country road trip. Why limit that feeling to a single experience when it could become a lifestyle? That’s right, we want to invest in a van that we can convert into a mobile home. This money would be just what we need to begin our next chapter—the unending adventure of our childhood (and adulthood) dreams.
