We met as coworkers at a corporate job while Gio was building his own business and became good friends. A few years later Bex was working at a gallery in Chicago, and rekindled the friendship by sharing photos from a museum there. Gio asked her if she’d like to return to Denver and manage his shop as the gallery was closing. She moved back and helped him to build the business and soon after they both realized that they were destined for more than friendship, and have grown together ever since.

We took a working vacation to Cannon Beach in Oct 25 and got to experience the magic of our dogs seeing the ocean for the first time. After a beautiful trip, a long drive & lots of hard work, we came home to do lots more work for a few weeks building out our tattoo shop & wedding venue, and had the best day of our lives with our friends & family on 11/22. Our relationship is built on support and hard work, so our DIY wedding was the perfect finish to our favorite trip, and an exhausting month.

As multiple small business owners, our oddities shop, tattoo shop, and sideshow circus leave us with little time for ourselves. We would love to take a honeymoon and comfortably support everything we’ve built while we’re away. Winning would afford us the opportunity to take some stress-free time for ourselves and leave our business in the hands of our capable employees. We are a small crew and work for ourselves a lot—getting away is difficult and winning would make a trip much more attainable.
