We started as friends at junior prom and built a lifetime of love, proving that the best relationships begin with friendship.

Eric and I met in high school and went to junior prom together in May 2003 as friends. After a wonderful night, he walked me to my door and kissed me goodnight. We’ve been together ever since. For our first anniversary, we visited the Cliff Walk in Newport, RI. Seven years later, on a beautiful September day, he brought me back to that same spot and proposed. We married on the Sweetest Day in October 2011 and have been writing our love story ever since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?1) Sr. Prom when he surprised me with a tiara and white gloves to turn me into Cinderella (my favorite) for one night. The icing on the cake was that the tiara was on loan to him and had real pearls in it! I had to give it back, just like Cinderella. 2) When we were planning our wedding and honeymoon, I asked Eric where he wanted to go. He looked at me so confused and said “I’m taking you to Paris, you’ve always wanted to go.” So he did. And it was absolutely a dream come true. Again!
What would you do with $20,000?We are celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary this October and would absolutely love to go to the Açores to visit the islands that our grandparents came from. That would be an absolute honor, to experience that trip with our children.
