In 2017, I moved to Key West, into a house where Nick happened to be a roommate. A week after I moved in, a long road trip to the mainland became our first adventure! We made stops for a bird sanctuary, a short hike, and jumping into the ocean! He knew then he was in love. He confessed his feelings but I shot him down. Then soon after I realized he was everything I’d been looking for. Our first date ended with me blurting “I love you,” and we've been together ever since!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?One of our favorite memories is canoeing out to Tarpon Belly Key (an abandoned old shrimp farming island) to camp. We paddled across the water where a pod of dolphins visited us. Then we set up our tent on the island, and explored! We found some great spots for snorkeling. We saw an osprey, loads of fish, and nurse sharks. That night, storms were brewing in the distance. It was very early in our relationship, but it felt like we were the only 2 people in the world.
What would you do with $20,000?Adventure of course! We would use some of the money for an adventure through the continent of Africa! The rest would be used for our next big adventure, a down payment on a house!
