We’re engaged now! We face a lot of adversity and obstacles being queer black woman but still choose each other everyday.

We met on Hinge in 2021. We were both on our last leg of love and I was literally mid swipe out of the app to delete it when I noticed her profile picture. Her smile pulled me in and I decided to send her a rose and give love one more chance. Since the first hangout, we never left each other’s side. We are now engaged! I proposed on July 5, 2026 and we are now diving into wedding planning! Being voted America’s Favorite Couple would help tremendously.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?I would say our favorite memory would be our first facetime call. As soon as we met eye contact it was as if we had already knew each-other from some where. I don’t believe we even talked much at all. It was just a lot of feeling like “Wow, ..finally..”.
What would you do with $20,000?We would use the money to go towards our dream wedding now that we are engaged or to help buy our dream home .
