After ending an abusive relationship, I wasn’t looking to date but, I was looking at Facebook and talking with my mom, I said his name, and she recognized it. I had no idea who he was. Coincidentally, he was my mother‘s best friend’s nephew. So, I took a chance and sent him a private message. He replied, and just after the Christmas holiday, we went on our first date. We isolated together during Covid and we’ve been together ever since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We have a lot of great memories. We love to travel and cook together. But my favorite is watching him with our grandkids. My hubby is tall and a 30 year veteran. Watching him be a sweet “Nanpa” just makes me smile.
What would you do with $20,000?My husband has a terminal cancer diagnosis. I want to have more memories with him and our family. I would rent a large house for the Christmas holiday for us to enjoy with our family.
