We met in a shore town at a bar. My husband has passed away the previous year. We hit it off and began dating that summer. Thank goodness for Superstorm Sandy, Joe got flooded out in NJ and we moved in together in Phila. As a couple we have survived a cataclysm of events that made our bond stronger. We rescued a dog and she is now our mutual daughter. Between us we have five children, 16 grandchildren and great-grands as well.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Joe threw me a "Not-60" Surprise party after my Mom passed away. My Dad, relatives, family and friends were in attendance and dancing with the band. Our grandkids and family from Philly and NJ all came out to celebrate. Two years later, on 09/20/25, I performed our wedding ceremony at the same establishment, but this time we had a bagpiper. It was a day filled with love and joy. Today I told him that my co-worker was going to Vienna and Krakow - Him "Where is crack house?" Daily laughter!
What would you do with $20,000?We love camping and have a trailer. Since we are now empty nesters x 3 years we will travel and create new memories together with our Dog. We will obviously visit the shore town that met in as we go often and enjoy each visit regardless of the time of year or the weather.
