Connect How did your love story begin?

It was an accidental stalking. We kept crossing paths. I kept thinking to myself, who is that! This went on for months. Eventually, I needed countertops and my father called the first company he found. Then, Dan knocked on my door. I was speechless the entire time he was measuring my kitchen. A few days went by and I was invited to a party by a neighbor. There he was. We locked eyes and smiled, that was it. We told jokes and laughed all night. We’ve been together ever since. 8ys

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We camped across Kachemak Bay at the Glacier Spit. We hiked to the glacier lake. He went in the water to get me some glacier ice for everyone’s cocktails. We were lying on the sand and we were laughing so hard. His friend took an incredible picture of us with the glacier and lake in the background. And we were just laughing and smiling. It was such a beautiful trip. This was probably 6 or 7 years ago. We are still those people in the picture. He’s my favorite person in the world.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would get out of debt, take a real honeymoon and visit his mom and stepdad in Maine. I know we would spend it well. We are a hardworking couple, no matter the stress we can lean on each other no matter what happens.
