Fifteen years ago, I was a server, and Steve was a busboy who later became a cook. We always had feelings for each other, but neither of us wanted to risk losing our best friend. Over the years, we watched each other survive heartbreak, heal, grow, and celebrate life's highs and lows. One day, we finally stopped fighting what had always been there and took a chance on us. Falling in love didn't feel new. It felt like finally coming home.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Choosing one memory feels impossible because Steve has given me something I hadn't felt in years: peace. Seeing Sleep Token together was unforgettable. We sang every lyric, laughed, and held each other close all night while forgetting about the world for a few hours. But my favorite moments are the simple ones. Watching him love my children as his own, laughing over nothing, and realizing my best friend became the safe place I always prayed for.

What would you do with $20,000?

For so long, life has asked us to survive instead of simply living. $20,000 would help us embrace the beautiful chapter we've waited 15 years to begin. We'd make our new house feel even more like home, create unforgettable memories with our children, and continue planning the marriage we've always dreamed of. Most of all, it would allow us to slow down, hold each other a little longer, and cherish the family, love, and forever we've been blessed to find together.
