He answered my personal ad in a freebie paper! I blew off our first scheduled phone call to see a movie with a friend. Thankfully he gave me a 2nd chance. A month in we knew we were getting married. 3 months after our first date (dinner & Jurassic Park!) he got down on 1 knee & made it official. 8 mos & 9 days after our first date we were Mr & Mrs.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?The birth of our 2nd son was extra special because he was our only non-surgical birth. Steve supported me through labor and delivery and watched our son come into the world. Our first son was born in an operating room while I was under anesthesia and my husband paced in the waiting room, so to have a completely different experience was a nice way to welcome our second child.
What would you do with $20,000?Pay something off, maybe gift our adult kids a bit, then work on making our dream move to the Houston TX area a reality. The home we've been in for almost 32 yrs isn't right for us as we get older & we'd love to find our forever home in TX to be closer to my sister and nephews.
