He pursued me. I was in my Senior year of high school and he would come by the bus stop and offer me a ride to work. It saved me 40 cents in bus fare so, so I figured why not? However, i wouldn’t go out with him. On Christmas Day he called me and said Santa left a gift for you. I’ll bring it over and put it in your mailbox. It was a $75 gift certificate, an obscene amt. I couldn’t accept it, we settled on shopping together so I could give it back. I spent it all! I could be bought.🙄
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Making our parents happy. Steve quit college to work in his dad’s garage after his dad had a heart attack. When my dad became ill he still loved to play cards. Dad and I were partners and he and mom. We laugh now because I would insist all the way to their house that he let dad & I win, and then I’d be mad all the way home when he didn’t. He said dad would know.
What would you do with $20,000?We’ve always wanted a pergola for our deck with a whole set of matching deck furniture, fire pit, etc. A way for everyone to be comfortable. We love to host our entire family which includes our 7 grandchildren, which includes 3 sets of twins.
