Met in high school, married 49 years, and with all the adventures we could find. Next year, our 50th, we plan a full ceremony

We lived around the corner from each other. I had seen her when she and another girl would stop by to walk to school with my sister. One day she looked at me in school and I found her walking home, and offered her a ride home. I tell the grandkids I picked their grandmothet ip off the street.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Traveling on Hwy 84 from Lubbock, Texas to Santa Rosa, New Mexico, and not seeing anyone in 3 hours, we passed a sign that said: “Billy the Kid’s Grave 3 miles”. We hit the brakes, hard, stopped and looked at each other saying,”why not!?” Then proceeded to Billy’s Grave. It was early evening, everything was closed. The wind was blowing, deserted, lonely, and a perfect illustration of the kind of adventures we have.
What would you do with $20,000?Well, part of it would go towards the renewal of vows next October. The same wedding as it was in 1977. Only this tome I would have to hire the Mariachi band (last time they were warming up for the next wedding, but I told them,”play on” Then another “big lap around America”. We drive to California and kinda head North until its time to turn East. I thinl we would see more of Wyoming and the Dakotas
