Connect How did your love story begin?

We both were cast in a unique show by Stephen Schwartz called Magic To Do created just for Princess Cruise ships, however we were in different casts on different ships. We knew of one another for years and finally our paths crossed onboard the Emerald Princess when I boarded to perform my headlining act SHE WILL ROCK YOU! There was immediate attraction, but we both had learned hard lessons about cruise ship romances so we became great friends. That’s when the real feelings developed!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory is our engagement in Honolulu. Erik designed my ring with a hidden emerald beneath the diamond to honor where we met—aboard the Emerald Princess. At one of our favorite restaurants, he borrowed the black onyx ring I was wearing to demonstrate a new illusion for our show. When he returned the ring, he smiled and asked, “Is this your ring?” It wasn’t. It was my engagement ring. I asked, “Is it?” He replied, “It is… if you’ll be my wife.”

What would you do with $20,000?

We’re saving for our October 2027 wedding in New Orleans, where we hope to rent a historic mansion that can host our ceremony, reception, and accommodations for our families and wedding party. We believe the most meaningful part of a wedding is bringing two families together and giving them time to truly get to know one another. Any funds remaining will be invested in the magical musical act we’re creating, allowing us to perform and travel the world as partners.
