Eight years ago, I was standing at a hotel front desk with my brother when I overheard a man with a Bay Area accent. Curious, I smiled and asked where he was from. That one question led to a short conversation & before we parted ways I invited him & his family to one of our music events. We went on with our lives, occasional check-ins sharing our love of aviation. Today he’s not only my partner. He’s one of my greatest blessings.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?One of my favorite memories wasn’t a vacation or special event although we pilot together often, it was realizing that the people I love most had fallen in love with him too. Watching my brothers & Derek develop a genuine friendship and seeing my family embrace him felt like everything coming together exactly as it was meant to. Those moments reminded me that I hadn’t just found a partner…I found someone who truly belongs in my life.
What would you do with $20,000?We’d invest in building our future create unforgettable memories with our families and help others along the way. Aviation taught us that every journey is about the people you carry with you. We’d use this blessing not to only strengthen our own foundation but to give back to causes that brings hope and opportunity to others.
