Kurt was on tour with a rock band capturing the energy of the night as their photographer. Stacey was just a fan in the crowd—until the singer reached his hand out toward her and Kurt snapped the photo right as it happened. After the show, Kurt handed Stacey his card so he could send her the photo. It wasn’t until the following year on a metal cruise we discovered we’ve both been on for years, we finally hung out for the first time.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We took an overnight bus from England to Scotland. While Kurt was sleeping, Stacey added a song to our shared playlist that we heard in a pub in England. Kurt had then added a song to our playlist later on while Stacey slept. When we both woke up, the beauty of Scotland was breathtaking and we each immediately wanted to share our adds to our playlist. We then realized our 2 new songs were by the same artist that neither of us had ever heard of. It was just a sweet moment of feeling so aligned.
What would you do with $20,000?We are planning and paying for our wedding, so we would definitely use the money to help with those expenses. Traveling and exploring new countries and cultures is a huge passion we share so we would also use some of money to go on our next big adventure together.
