How did your love story begin?

Our love story began at Kouzia (Greek for "Kitchen"), an event Dimitra was leading. I owned a salsa company that sponsored the event. As I was leaving, someone stopped me to introduce us. We exchanged a few words, I handed her my business card, and left. She later emailed to thank me for sponsoring the event, and we kept talking. She canceled our first two dates, but the third time was the charm—and the start of our forever.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our first date remains my favorite memory. What was meant to be a quick coffee turned into hours of conversation. I walked Dimitra home, kissed her on the cheek, and we both said, "Let's do this again." I drove home knowing she was the one, wrote a wedding proposal, and mailed it to myself. What would you do with $20,000?

My wife and I have always dreamed of seeing the Northern Lights or spending Christmas in New Zealand. Since starting our family, those dreams have been put on hold as our priorities shifted to raising our children.
