We began dating in high school as the two in the friend group who didn't have prom dates. He was my best friend before he was my partner, and his career choice with the military quickly showed us what it means to truly love somebody despite the distance and the challenges. Even though thousands of miles often keep us physically apart, we are inseperable in spirit.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?I went to visit him on his base in Washington, and he surprised me with a week long road trip across the state, to Montana, and back. He proposed on a dock on a lake on Idaho, just like how we shared a heartfelt commitment to each other before he left for boot camp on our friend's dock.
What would you do with $20,000?The monetary prize would allow us to have an intimate, debt-free wedding! This huge financial burden being lifted would help us put money toward a house and start a family, as well as have the wedding of our dreams.
