Connect How did your love story begin?

Our story began with a surprise neither of us saw coming. In December 2019, I travelled to the UK to spend Christmas with a close friend, unaware her brother would also be visiting. On Christmas Eve, he walked through the door and we crossed paths for the first time. It felt ordinary then, but we've learned that some of life's greatest blessings don't arrive with fireworks, they simply walk through the front door when you're least expecting them.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory isn't a single moment but the adventure of building a life across 3 countries before making Canada our home. Navigating 4 years of long distance, 3 international moves, and changing environments could have tested us, instead, it brought us closer. We realized that no matter how chaotic the transition, 'home' wasn't a place on a map; it was just being together. Intentionality, commitment, and faith brought us through, and this June, we celebrated 4 beautiful years of marriage!

What would you do with $20,000?

Honestly this would be more than prize money for us. It would be an investment in the life we're building. We’ve always envisioned opening our home to community so we’d use it toward our first home, continue creating meaningful faith and lifestyle content that encourages others, and set aside a portion to support young people beginning their own journeys. Our dream has never been just to build a successful life together, but to create opportunities and hope for others along the way.
