Connect How did your love story begin?

I was going in for an interview and he was speaking to another candidate while I was being interviewed by another manager. He was in a booth in front of me facing my direction. The whole time we were making eye contact while trying to be professional. I did end up getting the job and as time went on we felt the chemistry becoming stronger and stronger. We tried to ignore it at first due to working in the same environment, but at some point that got too hard and we became inseparable.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory together is something that continues within our relationship everyday. When we’re together it feels like we can be kids and be our full authentic selves. We’re never afraid to be goofy or something that would probably be seen as weird to others. When we’re apart we close our eyes and think about those moments and we can feel a giggle and smile arising just from the thought.

What would you do with $20,000?

Creating a stable foundation for ourselves would be a dream. Francisco is very passionate about starting his own business and getting out of the restaurant industry. With this money we can invest it in the equipment he needs to start something up. He’s very passionate about making clothes but lacks the efficient equipment, so he does each print by hand, rather than printing and stamping. Another thing we would love to invest in is a piece of land to build our dream home for our family.
