We would like to thank you for supporting Sofia and Chris in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
Our love blossomed in the midst of a global pandemic! We had our first date right before the world shutdown and we remained pen pals for months, until we decided to be brave and meet at a park. During the time we were pen pals though, our emotional connection grew and developed. We’re both musicians and made playlists for each other, sent each other music we were working on, and sent voice memos and videos of ourselves playing covers. After our second date at the park, the rest was history!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?It’s hard to pick just one so here’s a few: playing in a band together, driving through Oahu while listening to Steely Dan, and sharing meals that are symbolic to our relationship, whether we cooked those meals at home or had them at a restaurant!
What would you do with $20,000?We just got married about two weeks ago and are starting to save and invest in our future together, while paying off debt from student loans. $20,000 would be a huge financial relief for us!
