How did your love story begin?

Our love story began in 1997 with two cans of Pepsi. I was a divorced mother of five who had sworn off love after years of heartbreak. Leonard quietly visited my store every day, smiling but never making a move. One laugh, one chance meeting, and one unexpected conversation changed everything. What started as friendship and a spare bedroom became a lifetime of love, sacrifice, faith, and raising our children together. Through every storm, we've continued choosing each other.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our fondest memories were traveling the East Coast and out West while Leonard drove. During summers and school breaks, many of our children rode with us, making the truck our home on wheels. We laughed at CB radio chatter, met people at truck stops, listened to audiobooks, and before The Green Mile became a movie, I read the book aloud as we rolled down the highway. Those miles gave us memories we'll cherish forever.

What would you do with $20,000?

Honestly, we would save half for a rainy day and use the rest to make memories. We'd visit historic sites, explore places we've never been, enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and spend time with people who appreciate life. After years of blessings, struggles, giving, and receiving support, we'd simply be thankful for another adventure together, making memories that will last far longer than the money itself.
